SRS Cleaning Equipment is one of the UK’s leading specialists in the sale, lease, hire and maintenance of sweepers, scrubber driers and floor care machines with a proud reputation spanning almost thirty years.
Since establishing in 1978 we have enjoyed continual growth thanks to our flexibility, commitment to the best customer service and our highly-skilled and experienced team.
SRS’s extensive headquarters are based on a 5 acre site in North Yorkshire and the family-run company also has a warehouse in the Midlands.
SRS was one of the first UK companies to offer an alternative to the purchase of cleaning machinery and our hire fleet now offers over six hundred and fifty sweepers and scrubber driers. Our flexible contracts mean that clients can easily upgrade or downgrade their requirements to meet with changing demands in their industry.
Our wide range of easy-to-use and maintain equipment readily available us to satisfy customer demand quickly, wherever you may be in the UK, fully-supported by an experienced team of engineers both on site and mobile. Every client benefits from a dedicated SRS account manager who continually assesses how best to meet on-going and constantly changing needs.
Our Clients
SRS works across a variety of sectors including engineering, construction, manufacturing, food production, distribution and warehousing, factories, airports, retail and car parks, facilities management and cleaning contractors as well as with many public sector organisations. Whether it’s a one week hire of a sweeper or a five year full maintenance lease of a scrubber drier, SRS responds to clients needs twenty four hours a day. Ninety-five per cent of all parts and consumables are held on site allowing for same-day delivery.

As Europe’s largest PowerBoss distributor- and the UK’s sole distributor since 1995, SRS can exclusively provide their range of industrial sweepers and scrubbers driers for both indoor and outdoor use. PowerBoss designed and manufactured the Worlds’ first ever combination sweeper scrubber and continues its’ innovative programme of design and manufacture.
SRS has also been the largest worldwide distributor and sole UK distributor of NSS equipment since 1990. NSS offers a full line in floor equipment for all types of floors in a commercial or industrial environment.
Since 1979 SRS has been one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Karcher commercial and industrial pressure washers.
Our Ethos
As a competitive, forward-thinking company, SRS is constantly renewing and upgrading its fleet so regularly re-conditions ex-hire machines making them available for sale. All machines have been maintained by the SRS workshop team and come with a full warranty.
SRS offers free on site surveys and demonstrations and provides initial and ongoing operator training producing professional operators, which we believe is the key to clean floors in any environment. This is crucial to ensure low running costs, increased health and safety awareness and to reduce the risk of on site accidents.
