SRS Supplies New Generation Battery Burnishers
SRS Cleaning Equipment has become the UK’s only supplier of the most up-to-date battery burnisher from NSS, one of the world’s leading suppliers of heavy-duty commercial and industrial floor cleaners.
The Charger 2717 DB battery burnisher offers better cleaning results, is easier and safer to use than a propane burnisher and is convenient to store in an upright standing position.
The new machine is more environmentally friendly as it is battery operated, with three hours of constant run-time, with no toxic exhausts or unpleasant odours. The charger’s enhanced Vac-Trac dust collection system also means cleaner operation and, compared to propane machines, reduced wax dust build-up on furnishings, merchandise and in HVAC filters.
The Charger 2717 DB offers the productivity and shine of a 27-inch propane without the maintenance costs and repair hassles resulting in less machine downtime.
Building off the success of its predecessor, the Charger 2716 DB Plus, this newly designed charger offers numerous benefits. The machine is simple to use, with no operator adjustment required. With 70 to 80 pounds of pad pressure, a consistently high gloss shine is ensured. A unique feature of the machine is the hinged head assembly, which flips up 90 degrees from the operating position. This permits convenient pad changes in a standing position. It also makes the machine more compact for storage when not in use.
The new charger is also less disruptive with a quieter operating sound level compared to a propane machine.
To make the new burnisher easier to use, the machine’s variable speed wheel drive propels the machine in both forward and reverse. Thanks to the almost vibration-free engine, the Charger 2717 DB is also more comfortable for the operator.
