SRS helps Balfour Beatty to "Power Ahead"

SRS Cleaning Equipment, in North Yorkshire, has recently provided Balfour Beatty with top of the range cleaning machines for their work at Dungeness B Power Station in Kent.
The nine NSS Pacer PB PacVac Vacuums will be used to clean the high-level areas of the power station where there is no access to a power supply.

The Pacer PB PacVac is cordless to make it safer and more practical to use, offers low noise levels to minimise disruption and has a long run time thanks to NiMH battery technology. These batteries have double the charge density of traditional batteries with 50% more runtime. The batteries are also considerably lighter which is important as the Pac Vac is a ‘backpack’ style machine carried on the operators back.
Balfour Beatty won a seven year contract with British Energy for the facilities management of the organisation’s eight nuclear power stations and two office complexes across England and Scotland. Balfour Beatty then required a reliable partner with the expertise to supply efficient cleaning machinery.
